Grecians to take time with Archibald-Henville

Exeter defender Troy Archibald-Henville is closing in on a return from injury but will not be rushed back ahead of the forthcoming npower League One campaign. The 21-year-old, who joined from Tottenham in February following a successful loan spell at St James Park, has been out for the last six months after sustaining a knee cartilage problem. But manager Paul Tisdale has been pleased with the player's progress and told the Express & Echo: "Troy's okay. He came through the first week of training very well but had a small reaction, which I suppose is to be expected when you have been out for a long time and have had an operation like he has. "He's been out for six months or so and we want to make sure we don't rush him. We are just cautious of all the little aches and pains he has and making sure we don't push him too quickly." Captain Matt Taylor was back in last week's pre-season friendly against Clevedon following minor toe and knee operations this summer and Tisdale has moved quickly to quash rumours he could be moving to Swindon. He added: "There's no truth to that (Swindon's interest). No, there's no truth at all. I can't say anything about nothing. There's nothing there to comment on."
