Exeter's Scott Golbourne has set his sights on scoring more goals in 2011. Golbourne opened his account for the Grecians in Saturday's 5-1 hammering of Sheffield Wednesday and after failing to score in his first 62 appearances, the defender has targeted more goals in the New Year.

"Well I scored my first goal in training the other day so I was happy to get the goal," he told the club's official website.

"The gaffer told me he would like three to five goals for me a season really from my position. I'm so happy to get off the mark but hopefully there will be more to come."

Golbourne also had praise for the club's ground staff after their efforts allowed the game against the Owls to go ahead.

"It was unbelievable and a great reflection on the club as a whole really. Everybody chipped in and we were so grateful to get the game on," he added.
