Sercombe blow for Exeter Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is set to be without Liam Sercombe when the Grecians entertain Wycombe. The midfielder limped off in the second half of Saturday's draw with York with an ankle knock and is rated as doubtful for the visit of Gary Waddock's side. Striker John O'Flynn is expected to keep his place in Tisdale's starting XI after scoring a late equaliser against the Minstermen, while Jamie Cureton, taken off in the second half of that match, is also fit. However the clash with Wycombe will come too soon for Alan Gow, who has been ruled out by Tisdale, while Guillem Bauza faces a late test to prove his fitness. Exeter go into the midweek fixture unbeaten in four League Two matches. Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has promised to ring the changes. Wanderers endured an energy-sapping loss to Chesterfield on Saturday, playing most of the match with 10-men after Leon Johnson's sending off, and with a 180-mile round trip to St James' Park just three days later Waddock will look to freshen things up. The back four will need to be re-jigged as Johnson misses out through suspension so Anthony Stewart could slot in at centre-back. While Sam Wood (knee ligaments), Matt Bloomfield (groin) and striker Dennis Oli (ankle) all remain long-term absentees for Wycombe. The defeat at Chesterfield, the Spireites' first win of the season, extends the Chairboys' winless run to four matches, with their only victory coming on the opening day of the season at newly-promoted York.
