Grecians looking strong for Plymouth clash

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale heads into the Devon derby against Plymouth with an almost fully fit squad.

Will Hoskins misses out through injury but Matt Oakley, David Noble and Jordan Moore-Taylor will all hope to recover from illness or injury in time to face the Pilgrims.

Jake Taylor will look to keep his place having scored one goal and had an assist in another after coming in for David Wheeler in the 2-0 win at Crawley which enhanced the Grecians' play-off hopes.

Prior to the Crawley game Tisdale had named the same team for four successive games and could be tempted to bring back Oakley, Noble and Moore-Taylor if they are available.

Plymouth have no fresh injury concerns but Ryan Brunt remains out with a long-term anterior cruciate ligament injury, for which he underwent an operation on Tuesday.

Oscar Threlkeld is a doubt to face the Grecians after sustaining a knock in training last Friday.

Hiram Boateng, who has rejoined the club on loan from Crystal Palace, came off the bench in Monday's win over York and could start this weekend.

Plymouth are third in the table, just one point inside the automatic promotion places.
