Defender Christian Ribeiro set to return for Exeter

Exeter should be able to welcome back Christian Ribeiro for the visit of Oxford.

The defender suffered minor concussion during the 2-0 defeat by York last Tuesday and missed Saturday's 1-1 draw against Newport as a precaution.

Midfielder Ryan Harley has played the last two matches since returning from a hip injury and could be rested.

The clash is a milestone for long-serving boss Paul Tisdale as it will be his 500th competitive match in charge.

Oxford have injury concerns with top scorer Kemar Roofe struggling due to a groin problem.

Ryan Taylor, Jake Wright and Jordan Evans are sidelined while boss Michael Appleton has a host of new knocks to deal with after Saturday's defeat by Accrington.

Appleton has not revealed who the latest injury doubts are, but he is likely to have to name a youthful bench.

The U's remain in the automatic promotion places despite losing their last two matches.
