Exeter captain Jordan Moore-Taylor set for spell on sidelines

Exeter captain Jordan Moore-Taylor will miss the visit of Morecambe and faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines.

Moore-Taylor sat out the midweek home defeat to Sky Bet League Two leaders Notts County after being injured at Coventry.

Paul Tisdale has not put a time frame on Moore-Taylor's absence, but the Grecians boss says he will be "out for a while".

Fit-again Dean Moxey, Hiram Boateng and Liam McAlinden are all possible starters as Exeter seek to bounce back from two successive defeats.

Morecambe will assess Aaron Wildig ahead of the trip to St James Park after the midfielder came off in the first half of Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Luton due to a dead leg.

Defender Dean Winnard, sidelined of late by an Achilles problem, is set to make his return to the matchday squad.

Rhys Turner could also come back in after recovering from a hamstring problem.

Fellow forward Adam McGurk remains out after pulling his hamstring last weekend.
