Defensive woe for Exeter

06 August 2010 10:00
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale may be forced to tinker with his back line for Saturday's curtain-raiser against Colchester. Tisdale has doubts over pair Matt Taylor and Richard Duffy, who have both trained following injury set-backs and are battling to be fit. The Grecians will definitely be missing long-term absentee Troy Archibald-Henville after the 21-year-old suffered a setback in his recovery from knee cartilage damage. Striker Richard Logan is in contention to lead the City line after he shrugged off a knock, with a host of strikers chasing places in Tisdale's starting XI. Jamie Cureton, Daniel Nardiello, Adam Stansfield, Marcus Stewart and John O'Flynn are all in contention to feature up-front, meanwhile Joe Heath will be hoping for a place in defence.
