Daggers make their point

Romain Vincelot's fourth goal of the season earned Dagenham a point at home to Exeter as they drew 1-1. Having lost 3-0 in their previous two games, the home side would have feared a similar scoreline when the Grecians took the lead on five minutes. Ryan Harley picked up the ball in space on the right wing and his floated cross was flicked on by Jamie Cureton to the unmarked Richard Logan, who comfortably headed past Tony Roberts. Thankfully for Daggers, the rest of the first half was uneventful at best and gave boss John Still a chance to act while the game was still salvageable. After an improved beginning from the home side, they managed to reap the benefits of switching to a five-man midfield with the introduction of Gareth Gwillim, and the hosts equalised three minutes later. Danny Green's corner to the near post was met by French midfielder Vincelot, who headed in from six yards. Both sides had chances to win it in the final quarter, most dramatically when Bas Savage fired just wide for Redbridge from a tight angle on 88 minutes.
