Yobo to complete Everton switch

Everton have confirmed that they will complete the permanent signing of Nigerian international Joseph Yobo on Friday.

After months of negotiations Yobo is set to sign a four-year deal that will keep him at Goodison Park until June 2007.

Yobo has had an impressive season with the club after joining on loan from Marseille.

"Joseph Yobo has now reached an agreement with Marseilles and we expect the deal to be sealed within 24 hours," chief executive Michael Dunford told the club's official website.

"He is now our player."
