Defender Joseph Yobo has admitted his delight at leaving Everton after completing a loan move to Fenerbahce.[LNB] The 30-year-old centre-back departed Goodison Park after falling out of favour with manager David Moyes.[LNB]The Nigeria captain fell into Moyes' bad books after choosing to play for Nigeria at the African Nations Cup during January.[LNB]And Yobo felt that he was never given another opportunity by the Toffees boss after returning to Merseyside.[LNB]The defender, who spent several seasons at Goodison Park making over 200 appearances, expressed his relief after being under intense pressure while he negotiated a move to Turkey.[LNB]He told Kickoff.com: "During that period, I was under intense pressure. [LNB]"But now, I am very much relieved and I can now give my one hundred percent to the game.[LNB]"It was not easy for me, but I thank God that all is over," he said.[LNB]Yobo insists that national team duties remained key to his thoughts when signing a season-long loan deal with the Turkish giants.[LNB]"I have said it time and time again, my national assignment remains paramount to me whenever I'm going into any contract," he said. [LNB]"We don't need to deceive ourselves, Nigeria still remains our country, this is where we would return after club assignments, so the interest of my country is well protected in my new club."
