Tim Cahill hopes Liverpool will be looking over their shoulders this week, now that Everton are on a 'special run'. [LNB]Cahill headed in his team's winner at Wigan, meaning that Everton are unbeaten in nine games with a trip to Liverpool on Saturday. [LNB]The Merseyside derby will be Everton boss David Moyes's 600th game as a manager and the Scot also fired out a warning ahead of the clash, saying his team's season is just warming up. [LNB] Heads up: Tim Cahill heads home the winner[LNB]With Yakubu and Joseph Yobo to return from the Africa Cup of Nations this week and Mikel Arteta and Phil Jagielka regaining fitness he could be right. [LNB]Everton have a game in hand on Liverpool and, although they trail Rafa Benitez's side by nine points, Cahill is aware of the psychological effect the next few weeks could have on the red half of Merseyside. [LNB]'Who knows, if we get a result they might be looking over their shoulders,' said Cahill. 'We're just very happy to be in the situation that we are in now.' [LNB]Everton have won five and drawn four during their recent revival and Cahill believes he has been proved right, after telling critics earlier in the season that the side's fortunes would change. [LNB]Good times: Tim Cahill celebrates with Leighton Baines[LNB]'This is what we are capable of,' he said. [LNB]'We have found our form so it's all about momentum and taking it forward.' [LNB]Cahill headed in from six yards in the 83rd minute after meeting Leighton Baines's corner at the near post. [LNB]Cahill singled out Everton's defensive players for praise. [LNB]He said: 'Philippe Senderos came in and it's like he's been playing here all of his career. We went through hard times early in the season. This is what we deserve.' [LNB]Wigan could count themselves unlucky, with Charles N'Zogbia hitting the bar deep into injury time with a 22-yard effort. [LNB]But their attacking threat looked weak and they will benefit from the arrival of Victor Moses from Crystal Palace. [LNB]Wigan defender Emmerson Boyce warned that any newcomers will be walking into a difficult situation. [LNB]Boyce said: 'We've got to realise we're already in a dogfight, but the main priority is not to drop into the bottom three.'[LNB]WIGAN ATHLETIC (4-4-2): Stojkovic 5; Figueroa 6, Caldwell 7, Bramble 6, Boyce 6; McCarthy 7, Diame 7 (Scharner 55min, 6), Thomas 6 (Gomez 88), N'Zogbia 7; Scotland 4 (Sinclair 79), Rodallega 5.
