Wenger eyed AJ move

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he pondered making a move for striker Andrew Johnson, before the England international joined up with Everton in the summer.
The 25-year-old has already netted six goals for the Toffees, but Wenger is content that he was right not to go for the former Crystal Palace marksman.
He admitted: "I was right about him. He made a mistake to stay one more year in the Championship. Now he is showing how good he is.
"I like his work-rate, the timing of his runs and the fact he wants to go behind defenders and the fact he scores goals.
"I thought about signing him, but he was not really available and this year I have enough strikers.
"That is a why I said we would not buy in January, because we have the number required.
"He is England class if you compare him with the other players.
"He's suited to playing up front on his own because he has the physical potential to repeat the runs. That is very important when you play on your own up front."
