We can be heroes: Forget United, Everton boss Moyes can feel trophy glory coming

Everton boss David Moyes will tell his players that now is their time to be heroes ahead of Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United. Moyes has immense respect for the club's glory years in the 70s and 80s, when they were a match for city rivals Liverpool. However, the Toffees have won just two trophies in 22 years and none for 14,  which is a record that Moyes desperately wants to change. He said: 'I believe this club is very, very close to winning a trophy.  I want everyone, the players and supporters to enjoy it but I want to be going back to Wembley in a month's time for the final itself.' The manager's words have been echoed by Everton's top goalscorer Tim Cahill who believes his side have 'a massive chance' of upsetting Manchester United in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. 'Everyone says it is a good time to play them, but they have overcome a lot of their hiccups and at any stage of the year they are a hard team to play against. 'But anything can happen. Deep down inside, I believe we have a massive chance.' And Leighton Baines believes that now is the time for the Toffees to unsettle the champions. 'We have got to believe that this tie gives us the chance of an upset,' said the defender. 'We fancy our chances. 'We have been scoring a lot of goals of late and United maybe have hit something of a dip at the moment in their form. 'It may be a bigger game for us than it is for them but there is always pressure for them to get to a final so hopefully we can use that to our advantage.'
