Everton striker James Vaughan is scheduled to makes his comeback from injury in Wednesday evening's reserve game at Sunderland. The 20-year-old has been out since November having undergone surgery on his injured knee but returned to full training last week. Vaughan's career has been blighted by a succession of knee injuries, and he missed a whole year of first-team action back in 2005, also missing several months with a dislocated shoulder two years later. Now, after his latest setback, the youngster is making a late bid to be involved in the FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United on April 19.
