USA star Landon Donovan: I’m fit to make Everton FC debut at Arsenal
Landon Donovan 300[LNB]LANDON DONOVAN insists he is fit to take on Arsenal as he targets a winning start to his loan spell with Everton.[LNB]The American watched from the stands as his new team-mates beat Carlisle in Saturday's FA Cup third round tie, and is now raring to pull on a blue shirt for the first time at the Emirates.[LNB]Although he joins Everton after a month's break from competitive football, the LA Galaxy forward has been busy keeping himself in shape.[LNB]He said: 'Of course, any player wants to play against Arsenal at the Emirates. If not I will look forward to hopefully Manchester City here.[LNB]'I've done a lot of work in the last few weeks getting ready, so we will have a good week's training and we will see. I want to get in and start training. These guys are way ahead of me because we have been off for a month.'[LNB]Donovan is already an admirer of the Premier League, and the 27-year-old believes he can quickly adapt to the pace of English football.[LNB]He said: 'All of us in America follow the Premier League like most countries around the world and it's exciting to be part of it and to get to play in some games hopefully.
