Trio worthy of call-ups - Neville
Everton skipper Phil Neville says club mates Phil Jagielka, Joleon Lescott and Leighton Baines fully deserve their England call-ups. The trio watched from the bench as England beat Slovakia 4-0 at Wembley on Saturday. With a World Cup qualifier against the Ukraine to be played on Wednesday, Neville says his Everton team-mates were selected on merit.
He said: "Fabio Capello has watched the big games we have played since January and he has seen those three lads could perform in them."They are in the squad on merit and are not there just to make up the numbers."
