Tottenham made a ?1m bid for Everton captain Phil Neville after having earlier offers dismissed as insulting.[LNB] Everton manager David Moyes said: 'We had an offer of ?250,000 on Saturday afternoon and they upped it to ?500,000 this morning. That is insulting.[LNB]'It was going to be ?250,000 now and the rest in a year.
