Tottenham's Jermaine Jenas a summer target for Everton and Aston Villa

Since the departure of Juande Ramos and the arrival of Harry Redknapp, Jenas has struggled to secure a regular starting place prompting questions to be asked over where he will play next term. According to the Mirror, Moyes sent two of his scouts to Ewood Park at the weekend to watch the 26-year-old in action. Having always expressed an interest in Jenas, the 45-year-old manager will face competition from Aston Villa and Martin O'Neill. With Gareth Barry likely to leave the club in the summer, O'Neill is said to have earmarked Jenas as his replacement. Meanwhile, Redknapp is said to be reigniting Tottenham's interest in landing Manchester City winger Martin Petrov. Having struggled to find a candidate consistent enough to handle the left wing, Redknapp is reportedly preparing a deal to land the 30-year-old. Petrov came close to a move to White Hart Lane under manager Martin Jol in 2007 but instead opted for a £4.7 million move to the Eastlands to play under Sven-Goran Eriksson. This season has seen him struggle to return to first team football after picking up knee ligament damage. Now nearing full fitness the Bulgarian international finds himself further down the pecking order and as such could be tempted by a move down south.
