Tim Howard

Howard began his footballing career in The Barclays Premier League with English giants Manchester United and had reasonable success. Lifting the 2003 community shield as well as the 03/04 FA cup and 05/06 League Cup respectively.

However – when Manchester United signed long term target Edwin van der Sar from Fulham, Howard was sent out on loan in order to gain more first team football. He eventually signed permanently with Everton in February 2007 and has been a keen figure in the Everton team since.

Howard has gone on to make 279 appearances for Everton as well as being one of four goal keepers to score in The Barclays Premier League. However – being the professional he is refused to celebrate the goal due to sympathy for his opposing number in goal – dubbing the goal as 'cruel'.

Howard has recently signed a new deal with Everton that will keep him at the club till the summer of 2016. At just the age of 33 and with already almost 300 appearances for Everton to his name – expect Howard to write his name in the history of Everton Football Club.
