Everton winger Andy van der Meyde has revealed he could quit the club in the summer after failing to settle in England.
The former Holland international has made just 12 Premiership starts for the Toffees since joining from Internazionale 18 months ago.
The 27-year-old has been plagued by injury problems during his time at Goodison Park, while his family have also returned to Italy after failing to settle on Merseyside.
"If the situation remains this way I will have a big problem," claimed van der Meyde.
"I am in shape but spending my time on the bench or in the stands. I didn't come to England for this.
"If things don't improve I will ask the club to let me go.
"A couple of months ago I even considered giving up my contract. I thought enough is enough. I have been through a horrible time over here."
