Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed that he has released Alessandro Pistone and Richard Wright and both players are now free to find new clubs.
However, Lee Carsley and Alan Stubbs have been offered new deals to remain at Goodison Park next term.
Moyes told Everton's official website: "Alessandro and Richard have both been released, although the door is slightly ajar for Richard in that we may need to bring in another keeper."
Pistone has not featured in the first team for eight months since sustaining a serious knee injury.
The 31-year-old Italian, who made 116 appearances for the club, had only just penned a new two-year deal when he suffered the injury.
Wright has been a regular on the substitute's bench this term, acting as back-up keeper to Tim Howard.
The former Ipswich Town and Arsenal shot-stopper made 71 appearances for the club.
