Everton manager David Moyes has revealed the Toffees turned down a big offer in the summer for Louis Saha. Turkish side Besiktas are reported to have been the team to have made the offer for the Frenchman. However, Everton rejected the Turkish club's overtures as they plan to keep the former Manchester United man at Goodison Park. "Louis is someone we had a big bid for," Moyes told the News of the World. "But he didn't want to go and we didn't want to sell. "It's great news Louis wants to stay." Saha, who joined Everton on a 'pay-as-you-play' contract managed 24 appearances for Everton last season, scoring six goals.
