Everton have completed a deal for American midfielder Anton Peterlin.[LNB] The 22-year-old has been on trial at Goodison Park and has done enough to earn a permanent deal with The Toffees.[LNB]Peterlin currently plies his trade for Californian-based Ventura County Fusion - who play in the fourth tier of American football.[LNB]Fusion are coached by Englishman Graham Smith and he recommended Peterlin to Everton boss David Moyes.[LNB]"I felt he had a chance," said Smith. [LNB]"He's a very intelligent young boy. He will go into medicine if he doesn't make it as a soccer player. He has the mental capacity as well as the physical capacity to succeed.[LNB]"Moyes put him immediately with the first team and Anton did not look out of place. For eight days, he applied himself tremendously well."[LNB]PleasedMoyes himself admitted Peterlin made a big impact and he is pleased to have signed him.[LNB]"Anton really impressed myself and the coaching staff with his attitude and undoubted ability," said Moyes. [LNB]"We are therefore delighted to give him the chance to establish a professional career here at Everton."[LNB]The player, who recently had trials with MLS side San Jose and Chicago, is understandably ecstatic to have earned himself a move to England.[LNB]"It's a cliche to say, but it really is a dream come true," said Peterlin.[LNB]"I've always aspired to play at the highest level."[LNB]Peterlin, who has an EU passport as one of his parents is Danish, will officially join Everton in July and will be with them when they tour America early that month.[LNB]
