Toffees expect Moyes stay

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright is confident manager David Moyes will not be leaving Goodison Park any time in the near future. The former Preston boss has earned high praise for the job he has performed since taking over in March 2002. Moyes, who has steered Everton to the FA Cup final and Europa League qualification this season, has even been mentioned as an eventual successor to Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. But Kenwright believes the Scot remains fully committed to Everton and insists the club would not be prepared to allow their chief to leave. "That is a total non-starter in the world of Everton football club at the moment," he told Sky Sports News when asked if Moyes could leave. "This man is totally committed to his squad, his team, his football club. I know that for a fact." He added: "Not only do we not want to lose him, we're not going to lose him." Kenwright, though, is in no doubt about Moyes' credentials to become a success if he was ever handed the reins at United. He said: "Do I think he could do it? I think he could manage Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, any football club that he wants to."
