Toffees don't need to sell - Moyes

Everton manager David Moyes insists he will only sell players if the club needs to raise money - and at the moment he is planning to keep his current squad intact. The Toffees have been linked with Tottenham's former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch, with the suggestion being that would pave the way for Aiyegbeni Yakubu to complete a long-touted move to West Ham. Speculation also continues about midfielder Steven Pienaar, who is in the final year of his contract but has yet to agree improved terms with the Merseysiders. However, Moyes, buoyed by securing Mikel Arteta's long-term future on a new five-year at the weekend, insists he plans to keep the unit together. "If the club need money we have players we can sell - but we don't, that isn't the case," he said. "We don't need money. We are happy to keep the squad and move along and I think the team we have has got a really good chance of doing well. "We have put together a side we want to keep; we think we have a pretty good team and we don't want to get rid of it."
