Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the biggest (and littlest) transfer moves this summer. His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. A 5/5-rating means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline.e. LUIS GARCIA Atletico Madrid to West Brom - The Insider says: 1/5 Skilful former Liverpool midfielder is surplus to requirements at Atletico and is looking for a new club. He had been offered to relegated West Brom but is keen if possible to resurrect his Premier League career. Albion may be being used to make others aware of his availability. Fitness me be questionable after a few niggly injuries but can still provide odd flash of brilliance. GLEN JOHNSON Portsmouth to Chelsea - The Insider says: 2/5 Reports Chelsea matched Liverpool's bid are slightly awry. As Sportsmail revealed Chelsea were first to agree terms with Portsmouth a fortnight ago at £17m and Liverpool followed but the player still seems destined for Anfield. Chelsea are not totally out of the equation but the player is excited more by Liverpool's project and the chance to link up with Gerrard, Torres and Co. MAROUANE CHAMAKH Bordeaux to Fulham - The Insider says: 2/5 Arsenal have long followed Chamakh along with half of the Premier League. He is a target man with a turn of pace. Good in the air, he scored 13 goals last season and has a year of his contract left but believes he can be bought out for around £7m. Questions over whether he is as good an investment as Toulouse striker Andre Gignac but Fulham need extra firepower. Spurs have also watched him. SYLVAIN DISTIN Portsmouth to Sunderland - The Insider says: 1/5 The 31-year-old French defender is in demand. Liverpool have already placed a £2million bid and Aston Villa have also expressed an interest. Sunderland, keen to bolster their leaky defence, want him too but Steve Bruce is likely to be disappointed. Distin is keen on Liverpool but he may only be a squad player there and will be keen to hear Martin O'Neill's plans. Sunderland may have to be content with Richard Dunne for now. DIDIER ZOKORA Tottenham to Sevilla - The Insider says: 4/5 Zokora is believed to be disappointed about being pushed out at Tottenham but he won't be alone this summer. A deal with Sevilla will suit Tottenham's purpose in their bid to limit a compensation deal for former boss Juande Ramos as revealed by Sportsmail last month. Birmingham, Wigan and Sunderland are monitoring events.
