Victor Anichebe was on target as Everton beat Sydney FC 1-0 in their  first pre-season game in Australia today.   The striker scored a minute into the second half, receiving a passfrom Leighton Baines and turning well before shooting into the roof ofthe net. Victor victorious: Anichebe notches the only goal in the friendly Australia international Tim Cahill received a tremendous reception from the 40,000 strong crowd inside the ANZ Stadium when he came on at half-time. 'I thought we played well tonight against a decent side," Moyes told evertontv. Home favourite: Tim Cahill (centre) was given a rapturous reception 'They are a bit ahead of us in their pre-season but the players played well. The way we passed it looked a lot like the way we were playing towards the end of last season. 'We controlled most of the game but they were a bit of a threat.
