Tottenham are preparing a bid for Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar after his agent gave the Goodison club three weeks to make an improved contract offer.[LNB]On the move? Everton talks with Pienaar have stalled [LNB] Pienaar, a £2million signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2007, has one year left on his current deal and talks over an extension have stalled. [LNB]Everton have since agreed new deals with Tim Cahill and Jack Rodwell and opened talks with Mikel Arteta and Leighton Baines - which has seemingly inflamed the situation. [LNB]Pienaar's agent Ivan Modia said: 'My guess is that if, by the first match of the 2010 World Cup, we have been unable to take Steven an improved offer, then he will assume that Everton's position is final.[LNB]'The club are very busy concluding other players on long-term deals, most of whom have longer to run on their contract than Pienaar. [LNB]'That could mean one of three things: Either they wish to conclude other business before making a final offer, or it could mean that they have decided to sell him, or that they are satisfied that Pienaar walks away in 12 months as a free agent.'[LNB] Man United, Spurs and Liverpool on alert as Pienaar rejects Everton dealFergie misses out on Rodwell: Everton boy wonder pens new five-year dealEVERTON FC
