// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} 70 Jo channels the spirit of compatriot Ronaldinho with a no-look pass, but Wallace was offside when he received.[LNB]68 Jo accidently boots Skerle right in the shin (he was trying to shoot) and the referee rightly takes no further action.[LNB]66 Double substitution for Everton as Pienaar comes off as expected, along with Osman. James Wallace and Jose Baxter are brought on to replace them. The youngsters being given a run-out in this low-pressure environment.[LNB]64 Sigma boss the midfield for a period but again can't create anything and Baines clears easily[LNB]62 Pienaar is still on the pitch and plays in Jo, but the Brazilian cannot fashion a chance and the ball is cleared.[LNB]60 Pienaar is down and looks to be in trouble with his knee. He gets back up but with the tie all done and dusted he will surely be brought off.[LNB]59 Sigma just do not look like scoring. They have had plenty of possession but lack that cutting-edge up front in a very big way.[LNB]57 Great turn by Pienaar opens up the Sigma defence but when he sends the ball in Osman is indecisive in the box and the ball is scrambled clear.[LNB]55 Janotka and Horava try to combine but the Everton defence easily clears.[LNB]53 Pienaar is clean through after being played in by Jo, but he is just offside and the chance goes begging.[LNB]52 Everton look a lot more comfortable at the start of the second half. The life has been taken out of the tie and Sigma don't seem to be battling too hard for an equaliser at the moment.[LNB]50 Centre-back Yobo makes an enterprising run down the left-wing but he fails in his attempt to play in Fellaini.[LNB]48 Neville makes a late lunge and a free-kick is given, but no yellow card is shown.[LNB]46 Marlon is also prediciting a goal from Yakubu in the second-half. We will have to wait and see if Moyes gives him a run out first.[LNB]45 Kick-off! The second-half is underway.[LNB] Matthew, who is currently in the library finishing off his Masters thesis thinks the final score will be 3-1 to Everton. Thanks for the prediciton Matthew, and good luck with the thesis.[LNB] Andy in Warrington sends this in: "I'd love the Yak to get on there and get himself a couple. Hopefully their heads will go right down now after that goal and Everton should kick on and get at least 2 more." Yakubu is of course on the bench and looking to make a competitive return from a lengthy injury lay-off.[LNB] On viewing further replays of the Hibbert sending off, it does not seem to be a harsh decision. He came in from behind and it was doubtful whether he touched the ball.[LNB] So, with the tie nicely wrapped-up, how many can Everton go on to score now? Will Sigma turn things around on the night? Send your half-time predictions to alex.williams@bskyb.com and I will post a selection.[LNB]45 Half-time and if the tie wasn't over before the match, it certainly is now. Some hearts will have been fluttering after the early dismassal of Tony Hibbert but Everton weathered the storm and clinically took their only real chance.[LNB]44 That was a sweet strike from the South African but he was helped by the fact that he was all alone about 10 yards from goal.[LNB]43 GOAL - PIENAAR! Osman pulls the ball back in the area and Pienaar lashes a shot into the top corner. 10-man Everton take the lead![LNB]42 Osman is taken out for the second time by Onofrej but no second yellow for the Sigma man.[LNB]41 Fellaini makes a neat turn on the touchline but the referee says the ball went out of play at the attack is killed.[LNB]40 A lull in play now as a slow period is broken down even further by a string of fouls.[LNB]37 Horava receives the ball in a dangerous position but he had wondered beyond the last man and the flag goes up.[LNB]36 Leighton Baines goes down in the box, rather easily it looked, and no penalty is awarded.[LNB]34 Janotka lobs in a cross but but it's an easy catch for Howard.[LNB]32 Everton come forward for the first time in a while but the attempt to play Jo in was cut out quite easily.[LNB]30 Big shout for a penalty as Janotka goes down in the box. Unsurprisingly, the home crowd are enraged but Fellaini just seemed to ease him off the ball rather than committing a foul. No penalty.[LNB]29 Ordos looks to get on the end of a cross but again Yobo rises well to take the ball away from his path.[LNB]27 Janotka chests the ball down in the box but his finish is poor and dribbles wide of the near post.[LNB]25 Howard takes his time over a free-kick, much to the annoyance of the home fans, who give him a piercing round of whistles.[LNB]24 Another corner is cleared but Tomas Horava smacks it back towards the Everton goal. It's certainly very well hit but drifts just wide of the post.[LNB]23 Sigma swing in a dangerous corner but Yobo does well to get his head to it.[LNB]22 Anther booking, the referee seemed to just fling that card in the general direction of Gosling after an innocuous shirt pull.[LNB]21 Ladislav Onofrej is booked for a late tackle from behind on Leon Osman.[LNB]20 Referee Fredy Fautrel has a word with Fellaini as Sigma win back-to-back corners but do nothing with either.[LNB]18 Daniele in South Africa is still confident of a win despite the one-man disadvantage. He predicits 2-0 to Everton.[LNB]16 Rodwell and Fellaini team-up in the midfield and spread the ball to Pienaar, who sends in a cross that Jo almost pokes beyond the keeper. Everton came close to taking the lead there.[LNB]14 Dan Gosling looks as though he has moved to right-back in order to fill the gap left by Hibbert.[LNB]12 Sigma continue to surge forward with some neat passing but the final ball does not come off for them this time.[LNB]11 Howard was receiving treatment after a collision with Michal Ordos but is up now and back in action.[LNB]9 Replays show that Hibbert did get a small piece of the ball. Perhaps it was a harsh decision.[LNB]8 It wasn't the most maliacious of fouls but Hibbert was the last man back and prevented a clear goalscoring opportunity with a careless slide. Howard struggled to keep out the free-kick as he just tipped it onto the bar.[LNB]7 Tony Hibbert has been shown the red card for a professional foul on Jakub Petr. Sigma wanted a penalty but it was outside the box. Disaster for the Toffees in the early stages.[LNB]5 Centre-back Ales Skerle comes forward but he can't find the ball to get through the Everton defence.[LNB]4 Scott Flannery says that Distin will fill the gap left by the departure of Joleon Lescott and also predicts a 3-1 scoreline in favour of Everton tonight.[LNB]2 It's all Sigma in the early stages but nothing has come of their forays forward so far.[LNB]1 Sigma come forward early, being roared on by a healthy home crowd, but the early danger is cut out by Tim Howard.[LNB]0 Kick-off! we're underway.[LNB] Sigma are sporting white shirts and blue shorts this afternoon/evening so Everton will play in their fairly comedic black away kit with pink stripes.[LNB] The teams are almost ready to get underway in the Czech Republic, kick-off is coming shortly.[LNB] Everton are favourites to win on the night at evens with SkyBet. Sigma are 9/4 while a draw is 11/5.[LNB] If anyone has any views or predictions on tonight's encounter then make sure you drop me an e-mail at alex.williams@bskyb.com and I'll post a selection. Everton haven't made the best start to the season but surely a four-goal turnaround from Sigma is out of the question tonight?
