Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos hopes he has done enough in his few appearances at Everton to earn a permanent move to the club this summer.[LNB] The centre-half moved to Goodison Park from Arsenal in January but has had a frustrating time in Merseyside due to a number of niggling injuries.[LNB]He has only managed three first-team appearances for the Toffees, although he played 90 minutes for the reserves in their 1-0 win over Liverpool on Tuesday.[LNB]Senderos is disappointed not to have played more this year, but he harbours hope of staying at the club next term.[LNB]"It has been frustrating but that is often what happens in football," he told the club's official website. [LNB]"Obviously I would love to play for the first team but the chances are limited so I hope to be as fit as I can when I join in.[LNB]"I think they know what I am about now. I just need a run in the team and then we'll have to see what happens in the summer.[LNB]"Playing for the reserves gives me minutes on the pitch and though it is never the same as playing with the first team I will take anything that comes along.[LNB]"I will also do as well as I can when I get a chance to play.[LNB]"The manager and everyone at the club have been very supportive and that is nice to see.[LNB]"I am very happy here and I just hope we can finish the season well by getting a European place."[LNB]Senderos is hoping to play a key role for Switzerland in the World Cup this summer but admits he needs to get games under his belt soon.[LNB]"I hope I am now back to full fitness and that I can join up with the national team in good condition," he added. [LNB]"It is very important for me to play for 90 minutes. I need games and I also need to prepare for the World Cup as well as I can.[LNB]"I also hope to finish the season well with Everton. The team has been on a great run too recently. I hope we can have a strong finish to the season."
