Seamus Coleman - Scores alot and set to tie the knot

Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero and Aaron Ramsey are the names that come to mind when naming the best players in the Premier League so far this season. Each have scored goals in abundance, and have been game winners on their day.

But recently winning the plaudits of many is a young man from Donegal who plys his trade for Everton as a right-back, Seamus Coleman - the kid is mustard.

Sunday past saw Coleman fire another sensational strike into the net, as the high-flying Toffee's beat Southampton 2-1 at Goodison.

The Irishmans fifth league goal means he has scored more goals from open play than any other full-back in Evertons history has in a season - an impressive feat, considering we're only half way through the campaign.

Last week on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were in agreement that the 25 year old is the best right back in the Premier League at the minute.

Seamus Coleman cost £60,000 Sligo Rovers, what an absolute bargain. So with English clubs set to spend millions to bolster their squads, let Colemans form be a timely reminder that gems can be unearthed from the League of Ireland.

And after putting Southampton to the sword Sunday he capped of a memorable day by proposing to his long-term girlfriend Rachel Cunningham - needless to say she said yes, expressing her delight on Twitter.

Pride of Everton and Ireland our Seamus Coleman. Exciting times lie ahead for club and country.
