Saints delight at Connolly bargain and McSheffrey is set for Blades switch

Southampton manager Alan Pardew has linked-up with former Republic of Ireland striker David Connolly for the second time after he was released by Sunderland. [LNB]Ex-Wigan and Leicester star Connolly, 31, who played under Pardew at West Ham, has signed a deal until the end of the season after impressing during a trial.
