Everton boss David Moyes has revealed he would have no reservations about handing Jack Rodwell a shock start in Saturday's FA Cup final with Chelsea. The 18-year-old has made a huge impression on the Toffees' first team this season after being given a chance to impress by Moyes. Rodwell has featured in all of Everton's last four Premier League games and now Moyes has conceded he is seriously considering giving him the nod at Wembley. Moyes has no qualms regarding the player's temperament and believes his versatility would also be another huge bonus for the club. Serious consideration "Can he start at Wembley? He can definitely start. It's something I would seriously consider," stated Moyes. "I'd have no fears whatsoever starting Jack Rodwell. He could contribute and he is certainly someone I'd consider. "I don't see him being fazed by the occasion. He can play lots of roles for us. "We have brought him on in games and tried to give him as much playing time as we can without putting him right in, making him feel really under pressure, which could destroy him. Mature "Come the end of the season, we are starting to see the young boy mature into a young man. At the start when he came in he was a little bit starry-eyed and looking a little like a young professional footballer. "To go from the youth level to a first-team regular in the Premier League is completely different. "He has undoubted talent, great ability and there is a long future for Jack here."
