Derby are still waiting to hear from Everton about the extent of James Vaughan's knee injury.[LNB]The on-loan striker is back at Goodison Park having the problem assessed after missing the Rams' last two league games.[LNB]Rams boss Nigel Clough hopes the 21-year-old's latest knee injury is not serious and that he could be back for the resumption of the Championship campaign at Midlands rivals Leicester on October 17.[LNB]"We are still in their hands really. He has returned to Everton to see the consultant who has dealt with his knee problems in the past," said Clough. "It makes sense for him to go and see the consultant who's aware of his history and knows his knee.[LNB]"Hopefully, once he has seen him, he will be back down with us receiving treatment. If we get good news, there is a chance he might be involved against Leicester."[LNB]Meanwhile, young forward Greg Mills has had his loan spell at Blue Square North outfit Solihull Moors extended by a second month.
