Posh - No Lewis offers

Peterborough director of football Barry Fry insists he has not been contacted by Everton or any other club regarding goalkeeper Joe Lewis. The shot-stopper, who could start for England in Monday's European Under 21 Championship final due to Joe Hart's suspension, has reportedly caught the eye of a number of Premier League sides. Everton boss David Moyes has been repeatedly linked with a £2million approach to newly-promoted Championship outfit Peterborough, but Fry insists there have been no offers. He told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "I've had no conversation with Everton or any other club about Joe, which is a surprise because he is forever being linked with Premier League teams. "He's certainly good enough to play at that level, but there is no question of us wanting to sell him. He's a big part of what we are trying to achieve here. "Joe has a big reputation in the game and playing for England can only improve that."
