Philippe Senderos delight at Everton FC loan move

PHILIPPE Senderos has spoken of his delight after joining Everton on loan.[LNB]The Arsenal defender has now completed the deal that will keep him at Goodison Park until the end of the season and could be in the squad to face Sunderland tomorrow night.[LNB]'I am delighted to be an Everton player for the remainder of the season,' said Senderos.[LNB]'I can't wait to get stuck in and play for Everton.[LNB]'Hopefully I can get some first team football during my time here.[LNB]'I am here with high hopes and hopefully I can fulfil them.'[LNB]This represents the second loan move of the 24-year-old's career.[LNB]Senderos joined AC Milan on a season long deal for the 2008/09 campaign but made just 15 appearances for the Italian giants before returning to Arsenal.[LNB]After falling out of favour with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, the Switzerland international is keen to play regular first football with Everton and has been handed the number 23 shirt vacated by Lucas Neill who joined Galatasaray earlier this month.[LNB]Senderos is a direct replacement for Neill and has been brought in to provide cover for Johnny Heitinga, Sylvain Distin and Joseph Yobo, although he has stated his intention to fighting for a starting place.
