Paul Gascoigne arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs

Paul Gascoigne has been arrested for drugs offences, according to sources.[LNB]The 43-year-old spent the night in police custody on suspicion of possessing a class A substance. [LNB]His arrest came days after the troubled former England player was warned he faced jail when he admitted drink driving at Newcastle Magistrates Court. [LNB]A Northumbria Police spokesman said: 'At shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday, police attended a property in North Tyneside. [LNB]'A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a classA drug. A second man, aged 43, was later arrested on suspicion of beingconcerned in the supply of drugs.
