Crystal Palace boss George Burley has completed the capture of out-of-favour Everton striker James Vaughan on a three-month loan deal.[LNB] Vaughan will go straight into the Palace squad for Saturday's npower Championship clash at Reading.[LNB]The 22-year-old has struggled to command a first-team place at Goodison Park after being hampered by injuries since his breakthrough five years ago.[LNB]The Toffees Academy product, who has been troubled by shoulder and knee problems in recent years, spent time on loan with Derby and Leicester last season.[LNB]Vaughan made his mark when he became the Premier League's youngest goalscorer with a strike against Palace at the age of 16 years 271 days in 2005.[LNB]Finding himself behind the likes of Louis Saha and Jermaine Beckford in the pecking order, he was linked with new Premier League side Blackpool over the summer but no move materialised.[LNB]George Burley told the Croydon Advertiser ahead of Vaughan's signing: "We think James is a very good player.[LNB]"It's no secret we have been looking for a striker and I think James could be the answer. [LNB]"He will be the final player we bring in, after this deal we will work with what we've got."
