eon Osman is happy to take on extra playmaking duties in midfield for Everton now Mikel Arteta has left the club.[LNB] The Toffees lost their chief creator when Arteta signed for Arsenal on transfer deadline day, but Osman has proved an influential figure for the Merseyside outfit during his lengthy career at Goodison Park and is comfortable being the man to "make things happen" for them from the middle of the park.[LNB]Asked if Arteta's move had left him with added responsibilities, Osman told www.evertonfc.com: "Most probably, yes.[LNB]"It is a loss that Mikel moved on but we are not going to mope about it.[LNB]"We have got a good squad in place here and good players so we are looking forward."[LNB]The 30-year-old added: "I have found myself playing a bit more centrally, which has been good for me and hopefully I can continue to do so.[LNB]"The more I can get on the ball the better. I am sure any footballer will tell you they want to be on the ball and I like to get on it and make things happen."[LNB]
