Osman expects Villa backlash

Everton midfielder Leon Osman is wary of an Aston Villa backlash this weekend. The Merseysiders travel to Villa Park on Sunday in search of their first Barclays Premier League win of the season after collecting just one point in two games. They face a side in turmoil on and off the field after a 6-0 thrashing by Newcastle in their last outing and the recent departures of manager Martin O'Neill and star player James Milner. Yet Osman is not reading too much into any of that and is expecting a stern test from a side that finished sixth in the table last season. The 29-year-old said: "That result they had at the weekend probably makes it more difficult for us. They will be a bit wounded and will want to come out and show it was a one-off. "We are going in there confident and hopefully we can come away with the right result. It has not been the perfect start so the sooner we put that right the better."
