Everton skipper Phil Neville admits Chelsea's Champions League exit could work against his side.[LNB] Chelsea crashed out of Europe's premier competition in controversial circumstances after a dramatic 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Wednesday night.[LNB]Neville admitted he wanted Chelsea to make the final in Rome as it would have meant they would have had only three days to prepare for the FA Cup final at Wembley on 30th May.[LNB]"Well from Everton's point of view we wanted them [Chelsea] to get to the cup final because it is obviously three days before the final," Neville told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"From Chelsea's point of view they get a full week's preparation. [LNB]"It is the FA Cup final at the end of the day, it is the only competition they can win, the only competition we can win, so I think they will be well rested and highly motivated.[LNB]"They have great players and over the two games against Barcelona they acquitted themselves well.[LNB]"I watched the Real Madrid v Barcelona game at the weekend and Real Madrid got annihilated and Chelsea did not get annihilated over the two games. They had the best chances to win the game so it shows how strong they are and how strong this league is."[LNB]SympathyNeville also revealed he had sympathy for the Chelsea players following their angry reactions towards referee Tom Henning Ovrebo at the end of the game.[LNB]A number of Chelsea stars confronted Henning Ovrebo at the final whistle after feeling hard done to by some of the official's decisions.[LNB]Asked if he could understand their reactions, Neville said: "Without a doubt, I have been there.[LNB]"It is easy from somebody sat in the studio or sat in the stand to say them players are letting themselves down, but you put yourself in front of 75,000, 40,00 last night and you get a couple of bad decisions against you. [LNB]"The stakes are so high and Chelsea lost the final last year, so you can imagine the kind of pressure they put on themselves this year and that is why they react.[LNB]"I am sure if they didn't react then people would probably be looking at robots and we don't want robots. We want to see emotion and it is what makes football so great." [LNB]
