Everton skipper Phil Neville is urging his teammates not to let Mikel Arteta's injury derail their season.[LNB] Spanish midfielder Arteta is to return to his homeland next week to undergo surgery on the ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee which has ended his campaign.[LNB]The playmaker will travel to Barcelona for the operation, with the Toffees hoping he will be fit to return to action in six months' time.[LNB]Neville admits the loss of Arteta is a major blow but wants his colleagues to roll up their sleeves and maintain their challenge for Europe.[LNB]"It's a massive blow for us because any team would miss a player of Mikel's quality," he told the Mirror.[LNB]"It's really tough on Mikel himself and the lads are gutted for him but these things happen in football and we will just have to get on with it.[LNB]Quality"We have an awful lot to play for and there's nothing to be gained by feeling sorry for ourselves. We have some big games coming up now and it's up to each and every member of the squad to rise to the occasion and make sure the momentum we have got is not lost."[LNB]Although the Toffees will not see Arteta play again this season, Neville sees some positive movement coming from the crowded treatment room.[LNB]"Over the next few weeks we will get the likes of Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar back from injury and we will have Tim Cahill back this weekend from suspension," he said.[LNB]"There is certainly enough quality here to cope in Mikel's absence."[LNB]
