    Moyes warns Toffees stars

    28 Nov 2007 - 13:29:43

David Moyes has warned his Everton squad that nobody is now guaranteed a first-team place.

The Toffees boss has seen a number of injured players return to contention in recent weeks and believes the strength and depth of his squad this season will help keep players on their toes.

Moyes has just defensive duo Alan Stubbs (hamstring) and Leighton Baines (ankle) currently on the sidelines.

"It gives us a few selection dilemmas. Nobody is an automatic choice now," he told the club's official website.

"I'm not a great one for rotating but what we have got is a situation where we want people to keep playing right to the top of their game.

"Look at Phil Neville. He has been a terrific captain since he has been here but he has got Tony Hibbert, who did really well at Chelsea before the break, breathing down his neck.

"Nobody is nailed on any more - it's a different situation. With the period we have got coming up now, everyone is going to play a part."

Meanwhile, striker James Vaughan will continue his comeback from a recent thigh problem with a place in the reserve side to face Wigan on Wednesday evening.
