Moyes thrilled for Donovan

Everton manager David Moyes is delighted with the way Landon Donovan has settled into life in England.

The 27-year-old USA international only moved to Goodison Park on loan from LA Galaxy earlier this month but has played a key part in the Toffees' excellent January form.

He impressed in his debut at Arsenal less than three weeks ago and scored his first goal for the club in Wednesday's 2-0 victory against Sunderland, a result that extended their unbeaten Premier League run to eight matches.

Moyes said: "I think Landon's played really well in these last few games. He's got a great goalscoring record in America if you look at it and he's got a great record for his national team.

"He hadn't really had chances before, but tonight he got the first one and was a bit unlucky not to get a second one. So if he can add us a goal or two that would be great."
