Moyes reveals wish list

Everton boss David Moyes has revealed a right-back will be at the top of his January shopping list as he looks to bolster the Goodison Park squad.

The Toffees have been plagued by injuries to key personnel all season and currently have a clutch of midfielders - including Phil Neville, Tim Cahill, Mikel Arteta and Leon Osman - on the sidelines.

In defence regular right-back Tony Hibbert has made just four appearances all season and hasn't featured since rupturing his groin in October.

"We have really missed Hibbo," Moyes told the Liverpool Echo.

"It's been tough for us as we have not had a recognised right-back and that is something we are going to have to look at in January.

"We have been so short with him being out and it has meant that I have been having to find solutions when we have been running out of cover.

"We could have coped with losing one but when we lost Sandro (Pistone) and then Phil (Neville) last Sunday, it has meant we have been juggling things around.

"I have had to ask Joseph (Jobo) to play there and that has been the only alternative. It is not an ideal situation.

"We feel as if we can get ourselves through to Christmas and then in January we hope to maybe try and get one or two people in."
