Everton boss David Moyes refused to be too downhearted even after his side dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with
West ham United.
The Toffees dominated the first half after Yakubu had fired them into an early lead but were lucky to hang on for a point in the end after Dean Ashton equalised for the Hammers and Freddie Sears hit the post in the closing stages.
Moyes insisted: "In many ways this could be a point gained. The results have gone with us with the teams fighting for fifth spot losing.
"Yes, they could have won it when the youngster (Sears) came on. But that's what happens when you don't take your own chances.
"But West ham are playing with a lot less pressure than we are at the moment, and that showed in the end with the way they came forward."
