Everton boss David Moyes praised super-sub Victor Anichebe after watching his side move a step closer to reaching the last 32 of the UEFA Cup with a 2-0 victory at Nurnberg.
The Toffees scored twice in the last ten minutes to beat their German opponents with Anichebe winning a penalty - scored by Mikel Arteta - before netting the second goal himself.
Moyes said after the match: "It was a great night - what a way to finish a game!
"Victor made some impact but I was worried about putting him on because he had a broken hand and I didn't know how he'd do. But what do I know?
"It was a good performance. I thought for long periods we did well enough. They had one or two chances but you aren't going to come to a Bundesliga team and them not have chances.
"I thought in the first half we had two or three chances and if we'd scored them it would have made the difference."
