Moyes denies Beattie talk

Everton manager David Moyes has denied speculation that he is looking to offload out-of-favour striker James Beattie.
The former England international has failed to recapture his best form since moving to Goodison Park for £6million from Southampton two years ago.
This season the 28-year-old has fallen behind Andrew Johnson, James McFadden and youngster Victor Anichebe in the pecking order, but Moyes has denied he is looking to cash in on Beattie during the January transfer window.
"James is fine and he definitely won't be sold in the window," said the Toffees boss.
"An awful lot of you people (the press) are making up stories at the moment, but he's not for sale.
"James is determined to play for Everton and improve what he's all about and I'm sure he's capable of doing that."
