Moyes: Cup tie is still alive

Everton boss David Moyes is confident their Carling Cup semi-final with Chelsea is still alive despite losing the first leg 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
The Toffees appeared to be heading for a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening after Ayegbeni Yakubu equalised Shaun Wright-Phillips' opener for the home side.
But Joleon Lescott's stoppage-time own goal left the Toffees ruing their inability to overcome ten-man opposition following the second-half dismissal of John Obi Mikel.
"We worked very hard to get back in the tie and the players deserve a lot of credit because Chelsea are very good," said Moyes.
"We've gradually been getting better and I thought tonight, when it was 1-1 and they were a man down, we could get on top.
"But Chelsea are relentless and they just keep on going. We sat back a bit and they came at us.
"The tie's still alive but we're disappointed we didn't come away with a draw in the end.
"I thought it was a good old-fashioned cup tie.
"Both sets of players showed they wanted to be in the final."
