Everton manager David Moyes has told fans not to have unrealistic expectations about on-loan striker Jo.[LNB] The Brazilian moved from CSKA Moscow to Manchester City in the summer of 2008 but struggled to make an impact at Eastlands and made a temporary switch to Merseyside at the end of the January transfer window.[LNB]The 21-year-old scored two goals on his Everton debut against Bolton but Moyes says he still has a long way to go to become a top Premier League striker. [LNB]"I don't want everyone to expect too much from him because he found it difficult at Manchester City for six months of the season," the Scottish manager said.[LNB]Value"It is certainly not going to turn and everything be great for him here, even if it looked that way in his last game.[LNB]"In the first few days he came here I could see why he wouldn't be pushing for a starting place anywhere. But I think the longer I have gone on I have started to see why he is a player with such a value. [LNB]"We would have liked to have taken it steady. A lot has been said about him after his two goals so I hope he can do it again.[LNB]"You would hope he would be champing at the bit - he scored two goals and then had to sit out the next game because he is cup-tied.[LNB]"Hopefully we will see that much more from now until the end of the season."[LNB]InfluentialThe Goodison Park boss has also backed current captain Phil Neville to have a successful career as a manager.[LNB]Moyes says the former Manchester United player has set an example for Everton's promising youngsters to follow.[LNB]"I know top players like Phil sometimes don't make managers, but he has all the attributes to go on and become a top coach," he told the Daily Mail.[LNB]"I don't think it is possible to over-estimate the influence he has on our recent run, or on our squad overall.[LNB]"What he does often goes unnoticed but he has played a major part in what we've achieved because he shows the other players what is required.[LNB]"He has been at a club who have won things, so he knows what it takes. He is professional in everything he does and he makes sure we all do it the right way."[LNB]
